Make money from your closet
On e.closet you rent out the clothes you aren't wearing and get paid every time someone books them. You set the prices and choose pickup or shipping, and you keep what's left after a 15% service fee. Formal pieces on e.closet typically rent for $35–$70, and the same dress can be rented again and again.

What pieces rent for
These are the prices owners set on e.closet right now, for the shortest rental each one offers:
| Occasion | Typical rental price | Median |
|---|---|---|
| Formal and gala | $35–$70 | $50 |
| Wedding guest | $35–$70 | $50 |
| Cocktail and party | $35–$75 | $50 |
| Game day | $30–$55 | $40 |
What you earn depends on what you list, how you price it, and how often it's booked. The full breakdown explains what makes the difference.
How it works
- List a piece in the app with photos, size, measurements and condition.
- Set a flat price for each rental length you want to offer: 2, 4, 5, 7, 14 or 30 days. Add a sale price too if you'd sell it.
- Choose delivery: local handoff, shipping with a prepaid label, a same-city courier, or any mix.
- Accept requests. Each one comes with a message thread for sizing and handover.
- Get paid for each completed rental, and withdraw to your bank or Venmo whenever you have a balance.
What to list
